Drawing with light.

"The Salt of the Earth" (2014)

If you want to see more about our world I invite you to watch the movie "The Salt of the Earth".

This documentary is not only about the life and career of photographer SebastiĆ£o Salgado, but also about life from different corners of the world. You have the opportunity to live through someone else's eyes and discover new cultures.

I personally tried to imagine how the photographer felt and what were his thoughts when taking all those photos.
It's amazing how he captured some pictures, some unique moments and gestures!
But as Sebastiao himself said, each one of us has a different view, so take your time and enjoy the film.
You will for sure discover something different than me!

Outstanding illustrations

          I really enjoy looking at a beautiful ad with a special and different style! It is not always the idea behind the ad that draws my attention, sometimes I notice an ad only because I love its illustration.
          I do not look at an ad as a simple consumer, at least not since I've decided to learn more about what happens "behind the advertising scene". So I want to share with you some of the prints whose illustrations I like! Hope you will find them interesting too!

GUERRILLA marketing

What does Guerrilla marketing mean and how does it look like?

- Jay Conrad Levinson is the one who invented the term "Guerrilla marketing" in 1984, when speaking about unconventional advertising tools in his book "Guerrilla marketing";
- GM surprises the consumer either through the place where the ad is shown or through the concept of the ad;
- focuses on human psychology;
- GM is an unconventional low-budget system of advertising;
- the magic key is ''imagination"
- GM is in many cases interactive;
- GM generally seeks to create buzz and become viral;
- the purpose of using GM is rather to retain existing customers;
- GM "involves unusual approaches such as intercept encounters in public places, street giveaways of products, PR stunts, or any unconventional marketing intended to get maximum results from minimal resources" (Wikipedia).
